With Car: Santa Caterina, geographically the last fractions Valfurva, but perhaps the best known, is about 215 km from Milano and 14 km from Bormio.
In summer you can reach the village coming from Ponte di Legno, place in the valley over the Passo Gavia, open from late June to late October, or coming from Bormio, along the highway no.300.
With Train: The nearest station is to Tirano (about 44 km from Santa Catarina).
Links to Milan Central Station and Porta Garibaldi Station, there are many every day and almost every train is coincident with the bus Perego Bormio.
The section Bormio - Santa Caterina is served all year by coach.
With Airplane: For those who choose to travel by plane the nearest airports are Milan (Malpensa and Linate), Bergamo (Orio al Serio), Innsbruck, Zurich.
The only airport that offers the opportunity to facilitate connections with Santa Caterina Milan.
From both airports there is a shuttle service to the central station, from where many trains each day in Valtellina.
With Bus: During high season the bus Perego provide a service direct Milan-Bormio.
More generally, year-round bus service covering trafficking Sondrio-Tirano, Bormio and vice versa. The connection between Bormio, Uzza, St. Nicholas, St. Anthony and St. Catherine (14 km) is via bus.
With Taxi: There are also several means: by car in 4, 5, 6 seats to 50 seats buses and helicopters.
With Bike: If your means of transportation is a mountain bike, a racing bike or a motorbike you can reach St. Catherine and other localities of Valfurva along the main road that, coming from Bormio, runs through the valley.
From late June to late October, the Gavia can reach places even those coming from Valcamonica.
Warning: Santa Caterina is located 1738 m above sea level, and Valfurva snowfalls are possible even outside the winter season, so the road may not always be easy.
